Install IGEL UMS Server Ubuntu 14.04 Headless

Minimal Install Ubuntu 14.04 x64 Server with OpenSSH Server Update && dist-upgrade

apt-get update && dist-upgrade -y

1	apt-get update && dist-upgrade -y

install xorg

apt-get install xorg

1	apt-get install xorg

Add i386 Libs needed for Igel UMS

dpkg --add-architecture i386
apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0 libxtst6:i386 libxinerama1:i386 libxi6:i386 libXext6:i386 libXrender1:i386

dpkg --add-architecture i386

apt-get update

sudo apt-get install lib32z1 lib32ncurses5 lib32bz2-1.0 libxtst6:i386 libxinerama1:i386 libxi6:i386 libXext6:i386 libXrender1:i386

Install Igel UMS Server

Clean Up Boot Partition

Boot Partition is full because of updated kernel’s

df -h

df -h

Clean Up the Boot Partition with he following commands:

sudo -s
dpkg --get-selections|grep 'linux-image*'|awk '{print $1}'|egrep -v "linux-image-$(uname -r)|linux-image-generic" |while read n;do apt-get -y remove $n;done
apt-get autoremove
update-grub
exit

sudo -s

dpkg --get-selections|grep 'linux-image*'|awk '{print $1}'|egrep -v "linux-image-$(uname -r)|linux-image-generic" |while read n;do apt-get -y remove $n;done

apt-get autoremove

update-grub

exit

Proxmox – OpenVZ Ubuntu activate console

Ubuntu 12.04 Standartmässig ist die Konsole der OpenVZ VM nicht aktiviert. Mit folgenden Schritten kann die Ausgabe aktiviert werden.
